19th Annual Edwin J. Wylie Memorial LectureVascular Ultrasound: Past, Present, and FutureDepartment of Surgery, Division of Vascular Surgery, University of Washington School of Medicine, Seattle, WA; gzierler{at}u.washington.edu For the 19th Annual Wylie Memorial Lecture, I have chosen vascular ultrasound as my topic because I have had the opportunity to observe and participate in the development of this field over the last 25 years. Rather than try to be comprehensive, I will discuss what I consider to be some of the major milestones in the rise of the vascular laboratory, the current status of noninvasive vascular testing, and what might be on the horizon for the future.
Key Words: vascular ultrasound noninvasive vascular testing
