Traumatic Injury to Femoral Artery and Vein

The evaluation and management of vessel injuries proximate penetrating wounds is controversial, especially when the injuries are subtle a not limb threatening. A gunshot wound near the superficial femoral artery thought to have caused an intimal injury, which was complicated by throml formation in the adjacent vein. Diagnostic methods and treatment options discussed.
